Breaking the Stigma: Modern Tea Culture Can Be Fun, Inventive, and Totally Chill.
Tea is not a test — it’s a vibe. So, we’re here to remind you what we're all about:
Ditching the rules
Making it your own
And keeping iced tea cool, easy, and totally customizable
Whether you're trying our new SpecialTeas or brewing your favorite blend, this cold brew tea guide will keep you cool all season long.
Guide 1: Cold Brew Tea
Vibe: Smooth, mellow, and zero heat
Time: 6–12 hours
Add 1–2 tbsp loose leaf (or 1 large tea bag) per quart of cold water. (Remember, you can always adjust to your taste)
Chill in the fridge for 6–12 hours.
Strain or remove tea bag, pour over ice, and customize with fruit, herbs, or syrup.
Interesting Tidbit: Cold brew is delicate, low-acid, and super refreshing — no bitterness here.
Make it Yours: Let it steep longer for bold flavor, or keep it light. Toss in fruit, herbs, or a splash of lemonade.
Guide 2: Sun Tea
Vibe: Laid-back porch sippin’
Time: 2–4 hours in sunlight (do not exceed 4 hours)
Add 4–6 tea bags, 2–3 tsp loose leaf, or 1 of our one gallon tea bags per quart of filtered cold water in a clean jar.
Set it in direct sunlight for a few hours — let nature do the work. (do not exceed 4 hours and the water should stay below 140°F. If it gets too warm, bring it inside.)
Strain or remove the tea bag, then chill it down in the fridge.
Serve over ice and garnish to your vibe (think citrus, herbs, fruit).
Discard leftover tea after 24 hours.
Pro Tip: Refrigerate tea in an airtight container within 1 hour of brewing.
Bonus Hack: Freeze leftover tea in ice cube trays so your glass stays bold 'til the last drop.
Guide 3: Hot Brew & Chill
Vibe: Fast, bold flavor
Time: ~15 minutes
Brew your tea hot, using double the amount.
Steep for 5–10 minutes.
Pour over a tall glass of ice.
Add-ins: Frozen berries, lemon wedges, fresh herbs, honey, whatever feels right.

Add to a pitcher with cold water and ice.
Garnish and sweeten as you like.
Vigorously pour 1 quart boiling water over 5g tea (get it mad!).
Steep 1 hour, strain, stir in ¾ cup sugar.

A Note on Fruit & Herb Blends
Love fruity blends like Berry Bloom Botanica? These caffeine-free sips are technically called tisanes, and they’re perfect iced — but they need a little more love:
Use double the amount to get that full-bodied flavor.
Steep for 5–10 minutes, then pour over ice.
Sweeten or garnish to taste (if you choose).
