While we work toward our dream of opening a physical space, our mission to support cats in need has already begun. We’re not waiting for walls and windows to start making a difference—because the kitties can’t wait.

The Reality of the Rescue Crisis

Every week, thousands of cats sit in shelters and rescues, waiting for safety, warmth, and a second chance. Until we can offer them our own cozy space, we’re committing to helping the incredible organizations that do this work every single day. The numbers are staggering: over 3 million cats enter U.S. shelters every year. Many, being surrendered by their owners due to housing, financial, or health challenges. Meanwhile, community cats—unowned, outdoor cats—continue to multiply without intervention. Without support, overcrowded shelters and rescues are stretched to their limits.

That’s why this week, 10% of all teaware sales will go directly to Cedar Valley Humane Society in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. From your first sip in a new mug to the gentle clink of your favorite teapot, every purchase helps create a little more comfort—for both you and a cat in need. That's what we call, "Tea For a Cause"! And keep an eye out because—during surprise weeks throughout the year, we’ll spotlight different product categories, donating a portion of those purchase proceeds to feline-focused causes close to our hearts. One of the most effective ways to help reduce the community cat population is by getting involved in your local TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program. These programs not only humanely reduce population, they improve the lives of outdoor cats by providing essential vaccines and even microchips.
